My GR subscription, is about to run out, but can anyone convince me, why I should renew it. As I feel the only thing they provide is storage space for my GedCom. Any info I normally collect, I get from my FMP subscription, Ancestry or other members. If I want extra info from GR, then I have to pay for it. So what is my £10 for?

I think other than the friendship side of things on here, that the £9.95 is probably best thought of as buying the collective experience of the members here.... so often it is the 'thinking outside of the box' from a member that knocks down the brick wall that hard facts just can't do. I don't use the site for census etc.... but i do like to do look ups for people so my sub' also buys me the opportunity to 'pay back' some of the help I have received.

Now David if you do decide to stay as you ar not ar David it might be an idea to change your name to something as not to confuse you could be David1 or something there are 2 Mel's a nice one and me ~ the way to tell us apart is easy the nice Mel has pretty flowers on her name and I don't!
