Remember to tidy your back gardens too if you're on Google Earth. You can't see the houses clearly yet you can see the gardens.

I was looking more at areas within London/Greater London, click on a camera, zoom straight in and hey presto, tis like you're at the front door. The same, I suppose, as when I sold my last house and saw it in the Estate Agents window.

I see what you're saying Budgie..........and agree to an extent.

I think it's a really useful tool if it's used legitimately........and as you point out........I can' t stop people looking at my house as they walk past ! lol.

But ...... it's only good if it's used legitimately......

There are some people that can't draw the line between online and reality.........and it's people like that snooping and prying that would give me the hump lol xx

Hi Muffy

I use it to visit my mum & Dad's grave because I live a long way from my home town, only last night looked up my mum's old house and there's a stretch limo parked on the rather small drive, I know the lad who bought the house has a stretch limo business, mum would have laughed if she could have seen it, my mum and dad never owned a car. lol

I don't like the idea of people being seen, it doesn't bother me about our house being shown....

Hi Muffy

Mine's already on Google Earth, I don't mind ..., tis up to the individual I think.

If anyone is unhappy they click on the photo, can report it.

Just been walking down memory lane.

.......My area isn't on there as yet..........but if they do extend it to around here I am going to ask them to remove my property from it........Just read that if you are unhappy about it you can request it's removal by filling out an online form.

Anyone else going to do that or are you happy for your property to appear? xx
