I must have been quite young when i was taken to see the red shoes and have to say I don't remember any of it, not even the end. If it was that bad maybe I blanked it out!!

I was 5 and my mother took me to see Bambi. When Bambi lost her Mother, by all accounts I cried my eyes out and Mum had to take me out of the Cinema. She told me the Cinema was called the Little Vic in Bradford. I really don't remember it but my Mum reminded me off it often lol.

Well I got taken to the Jacy Cartoon Cinema by my big brother when I was around 4 (mainly becuase he wanted to go and taking me meant Mum would pay). The first 'grown up cinema' was in Clacton in the pouring rain and Mary Poppins (I was bored rigid at 5 years only and with the attention span of a goldfish) I played shops in the gangway with empy sweet wrappers and the usherette fell over me in the dark much to Mum's horror.

Hi All

I know exactly what it was - Darby O'Gill and the Little People. I remember it clearly as I managed to contract nits from the cinema seat that night. Much activity in the Derbac comb department and predictable jokes about little people followed ...

I couldn't remember the film at all, so I've had a look on Google and it was apparently a Walt Disney featuring in a supporting role a very young Sean Connery.

My first films were Dr Doolittle with Rex Harrison, and then the Jungle Book - the snakes swirling eyes scared the poop out of me for weeks afterwards, I was 28 at the time! Just kidding I was about 4 or 5 years old.
