I can remember the first ones...Prestatyn cinema, early 1960s ( don't bother to calculate , lol , I'm 51) ...

Dr No
The Ten Commandments
Help
Peter Pan
Mary Poppins

We used to go in the sweet shop attached to the cinema, buy a quarter of boiled sweeties, and maybe a Terry's waifa bar. Then afterwards have a cup of tea before catching the bus home :)

We used to go as kids on a Saturday morning to watch the Lone Ranger.

I remember going to Leeds on a coach trip with my mum to see Sound of Music.

The first film I saw with my hubby was 'Emmanuel', very raunchy....

Little reminder for you Ray

Tommy Steele

I read in the Sunday papers what lovers’ tokens are
There’s amulets and there’s talismans
Like a ring or a lucky star
It says that half a sovereign
Is a thing they use a lot
But sixpence is the only thing I’ve got

Still, half a sixpence
Is better than half a penny
Is better than half a farthing
Is better than none
It’s a token of
Our eternal love
When you’re far away
Touch it everyday
And, though, that half a sixpence
Can only mean half a romance
Remember that half a romance
Is better than none
But when I’m with you
One and one make two
And, likewise, two half sixpences
Joined together make one

Six Texas Rangers (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!) Rode in the sun (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!)

Six men of justice rode into an ambush with death for all but one.
One lone survivor (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!) Lay on the trail (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!)

Found there by Tonto, the brave Indian Tonto. He lived to tell the tale.
Hi-Yo, Silver! Hi-Yo, Silver, away! Hi-Yo, Silver! Hi-Yo, Silver, away!

His wounds quickly mended (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!) And then in the night (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!)

Six graves were put there to hide from the outlaws that one man lived to fight.
He chose silver bullets (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!) The sign of his name (Hi-Yo! Hi-Yo!) A mask to disguise him

A great silver stallion, and thus began his fame
Hi-Yo, Silver! Hi-Yo, Silver, away! Hi-Yo, Silver! Hi-Yo, Silver, away! The Lone Ranger is his name!
