We have had a little snow today here on Pagham Harbour. It was quite a pleasant experience to be stirring the marmalade my dad had been forced to prepare (he says) while the flakes came down outside.

One of those little quality moments he wasn't ever expecting.

Then he was forced to go out to the kitchen and wash the jars,moaning as he went of course!

Been getting small flurrys here in harlow on and off all day, had a fairly heavy one earlier but it was quite short.

Dirty big black cloud looming & getting nearer, bet we have another lot down :o{}

Got a covering here near Dover - a lot fell at lunchtime and that has frozen well. Just been outside and its started again, glad I'm off this week. Looks like we might get what was forecast.

Snow came in here from the east.
Quite a bit still on the ground from a fast and furious flurry around 3pm.
It's now freezing and the sky looks full of more snow to come.
We never get much usually, unless it arrives on an easterly wind....as it is at present.

bit nasty on the A1!

a couple of miles on both carriage ways have ice on them and traffic is at a crawl about 35 miles north of peterborough......and again at north of sheffield on the M1
