Had about four inches in Chelmsford by this morning and still coming down.

Took 3 hours to get to work by bus, train and tube.

There's 5 or six inches in central London so far. No buses, limited Underground. One of my assistants has just arrived, so that makes three of us out of ten who are supposed to be in.

We had a sprinkling at 8.30 ish during 'Lark Rise' - I heard the children? (between the ages of about 10 to 40 LOL) outside playing with it.
Went outside just now and a fine dust is falling.
Betty (the cat) ventured outside and came in all excited!!

Just looking for suitable boots to wear to work tomorrow - could be the wellies! LOL
