I am quite comfortable chatting with most people and often people will disclose quite alot about themselves. I do not tell them much about me., though. I'm not one to tell anyone about personal matters,- not even close friends.
A person's job or status doesn't phase me, although my daughters maintain that I have a 'telephone voice' for speaking to some people,on the phone - not posh, just a bit more careful.!

Yes I suppose I am a people person, in that I can talk to anyone quite easily, be it a boss or not.

I'll chat to someone at a bus stop or in a shop queue, but I'm really not into small talk, I prefer a good discussion or debate. I'm not much interested in hearing about their great aunt Fanny's gall bladder operation last week, I'm more of a "put the world to rights" with them, about Barack Obama, or the current situation in Sudan!!!

But if I'm on the beach, for example, sitting there with my book and enjoying the sound of the waves, I'll avoid other people like the plague, I'll choose an isolated spot to sit because I like to be left alone. So that's not very people person-ish is it !!!!!
