Woke up at 6am to a light dusting in Harlow

Sons first day back at secondary school :o)))

A fine dusting down in the far south east corner, - not far from Channel Tunnel.
It's bitterly cold and now started to rain, so I hope it doesn't freeze on top of that.

Magic radio just announced it's snowing in Hartlepool! There's a few heavy clouds and a lot of blue sky - really cold mind -- maybe the presenter is clairvoyant!!!

No snow at 5.15am, when I got up for a call of nature, but when I woke up at 7.30am. thin layer of snow. melted now. Dont know if we will have anymore. OH and I not venturing out. Very cold.

Although we have central heating on, and gas fire, I sit in my sleeping bag in the evening The sleeping bag from days of camping/caravanning. It has come in handy,glad I kept it.

I should have kept quiet about not often getting snow in the severn Valley, woke up to about half inch to an inch of snow this morning. It would be the one day I had an appointment in town so had to go out. pavements were very slippery even in town and it still had not melted. I think it will be very nasty tomorrow if it freezes tonight.

My sister said she had had some snow, south of Birmingham. Brr, we are coming over on Saturday, don't want any snow at least not at Bristol.

Our early morning dusting soon went, but there's been a bitterly cold wind blowing all day.
I've just been out to post a letter and everywhere is white again and gritty snow is falling fast.

I would send you some but I think it has all frozen now.It's like an ice rink out there.

Snow forecast for later probably when o.h. due home on his bike lol He phoned to see if I was ok, and asked if I was going out,no I said, then he moaned cos said he would have taken the car if he'd known I planned to stay in, as it was so cold when he went to work at lunchtime. Better get the second car back on the road I think, can't bear it if the car isn't there when I want to use it!

He will be happy if it snows overnight, he has to be at the hospital about 7 miles away at 9.20 tomorrow morning for blood sugar tests and stay all morning, then back here and off to work!

well it tried hard to snow around lunchtime here in Cardiff - I got very excited - doesn't take much - and then nothing!!!

No snow oop North in Whitley Bay, just cad!!

We had some this morning as well, we're in the Wye Valley:o)) its gone now though :o((
