Hope you're feeling better today BC.
Have you tried Vick's Vaporub when you're going to bed? I tend to suffer from chesty coughs when I get colds and find that rubbing that on my chest does really help relieve my night time coughing.

Sorry to read your are poorly BC hope you feel much better today, so you can party this evening, even if it is only on here.

His lordship is ill in bed with this Virus thingy, so it looks like I shall be celebrating with you all.

Hope she remembered the socks after the Vick on the feet I told her about first off, and hasn't slithered under the bed or somewhere inaccessible. What a way to spend the New Year.

Thanks folks...I did the Vicks on socks, stuck head in bucket of steam, sipped Buttercup syrup.chewed copious amounts of drugs and last night.....I only woke up about ten times! So all is progressing, call off the police, Hayley please. It is embarrassing when they keep checking up on me:-)

Aw BC I didn't realise you were so poorly or I'd have come on the thread to check on you yesterday, instead of going all thoughtful and introspective (ie very quiet, lol)I do hope those antibiotics have kicked in and you have a better sleep tonight. There is nothing worse than coughing until your ribs and tummy are sore.... I re-injured my back once with a bad coughing fit! Not nice at all.

Now, loads of warm drinks, doze when you can, and generally cosset yourself.

wmsl Hayley.... yeh, but having 10 burly policemen knocking down yer door in the middle of the night to check on you.... and you not being well enough to hang onto one and tuck him away for later.. no that must have been pretty traumatic, wouldn't you say??? And what DID you say to them to get the full armed rapid response team going in, complete with flak jackets and batons??????

Mock me all you do...the truth is I rang her yesterday morning her phone rang no answer, I tried again the afternoon, so I rang TW by this time I was in a bit of a state...and told TW that if I havent heard off by 6 pm I was calling the police I was worried that she may of fall or something...
