Morning before its Afternoon ..LOL

I have been up, but packing again to my other Sons house in Devon as I am baby sitting for them as their mother has to go to work during the school holidays .

Shelly I cant possibly do anything for you in your house as I'm busy I have to do my nails !! Cant possibly work with my red nails....they are only fit for looking at ..LOL

you must be very fit the rushing around you do the holidays you have which must mean a lot of preparing and packing and then the air port waiting about I am tired just thinking about it. I hope your family appreciate you.
I just had fish and chips for dinner my friend went and got it from the fish shop so no cooking for me today.

My sister emailed to say our Dads book is being printed they said about t wo weeks so we wait with bated breath.
I need to get on and do mine I have stopped at that for the moment still sorting out files.

The fish and chips Cod and chips they always give you far to many chips but it was lovely with salt and vinegar and bread and butter and a cup of tea Lovely Jubley.
I have been sitting watching a film on TV I had sorted my roller box (large plastic box on wheels)out I had a big book of knitting and chrochet patterns so sorted out anf have about 30 to take to the charity shop tomorrow .I also sorted out a wall hanging I for got I had started making when I lived in Norfolk it is on linen and has a large tree with leaves and apples in felt and on each apple I have added the childrens names of my husbands family I have to cut out some more leaves and apples as there are some more to go on it.then do the names and year of birth in silks. when I get time.

I am as bad as you Rita,for putting things away and forgetting about them.
I went into my sewing box two days ago,and found a ring a friend had given me for christmas,about five years ago. Don't ask me how it got in there,as I have not got a clue. It was lying right at the bottom off the box.
It's a little ring with an opal in it,and is lovely. How could I not have missed it.

No wonder Marilyn goes on holiday a lot, it's the only way she gets a break from babysitting. Plus, she has to keep her nails intact.

Who ate all the buns that Mo left out? Unless she's put them in her sewing box and forgot about them.

I have been upset this morning when I heard the fighting had started in Afganistan I keep thinking of the families of these men and women, my Grandson has not gone out there yet due to go this will be his second time.

Mariyln did you know that The Plymouth and West Devon Public Records office is facing an uncertain furture having been deemed and unsuitable Home for The National Archives the Histroical manuscripts stored since 1998 they have been given till 2013 to improve their storage conditions if not there is plans to remove it all to Cheshire salt mine for their self preservation, and the Brighton Centre is threatened with clousure in March
I wonder why they keep doing this when more and more people are doing family research soon we will only be able to get information on line.

It was good experience to go yesterday, just to get the feel of what is to come, looking in the court room etc. The barrister seems to be well experienced, but it will all be down to what the jury decide

Will i never get a bit of peace ?
I went out to shop this morning got back to find two letters from hospitals on my mat one from the Ashford Hospital who have made an appointment for me to have another CT scan done two weeks time at 9 in the morning.
so I have written and told them I will be away then for a week and that there must be a mistake as my last CT scan done two weeks go said no change and I was told by the consultant that I didnt have to have one done till two weeks before I go back to the hospital in May.
so I have to wait and see what happens that will mean I had two CT done in four weeks.
Then I got a letter from St Peters from the Rheumatoligist saying I need to have regular checks on my ESR whateveer that is ? I have Hyperuricameia.
do any of you want any of my complaints.
I have to wait now to see what happens. I told my sister book our holiday nothing is going to stop me having a holiday with all these appointments going on.

well one of my holidays is booked now Prince Regent hotel in Weymouth in July.
I am going away to my sister on 22 nd of this month and plan some m ore holidays during the year why b ecause at the rate I am going I wont be around much longer. so I am going to enjoy what time l have left.

I have not done a lot today watched two DVD;s yet I have loads of things i need to do.

Rita,you go out and enjoy yourself. But don't look on the black side,we expect to see you posting for years yet.
We popped to one off our daughters today,so that Roly could change the
room thermostat for them. The one they had was completely K**c*ered,and their house was so cold,my poor grandchildren were walking round with quilts around them,to keep warm.
It's as warm as toast in their house now.

Mo it has been cold it started dropping late afternoon I noticed it then I stuck the central heating on because I was cold. I am glad your

Rolly fixed the thermastat so the kids get some warmth.
I have jusy finished doing my "Take a Break " so I will post it tomorrow might win might not but worth a try.
I am off to bed now taking a book with me incase I have trouble sleeping.

Morning all Happy Valentines day to you all. who got a card and boxes or chocolates. ?well dont eat them all at once make them last.

It is 22 years since I had a Valentines card my late husband John use to buy me the big card and flowers and chcolates,
every Sunday when he went off to Golf he brought me back two some three bunches of flowers usually carnations.
every Saurday when he went to the shooting range he brought me chcolates see how lucky I was. now I get nothing. but on my birthday I cheat I have three bithday cards he sent me the last ones and I get one out and put it with the other cards I get. I usually get a lot of cards a lot come from Norfolk from my friends.

silly old fool I know.
