My heather's started to flower, I love to see the heather, the crocuses will be next.

I like bluebells, daffs and tulips as well, really look forward to them.

Hi Girls
I put some shake and vac on the carpets around the flat and had to get the vacumn out quickly it look like it had been snowing in all the rooms including the little room.
I empty the old oil out of the fish fryer and cleaned that and renewed the cooking oil.
so I am getting on well this morning I have even answered emails as well. my son in the plaster with the torn achille done while on duty as a paramedic said his son called on him Monday to bring him medicine and some food in his police car he was just going on duty I said goodness knows what your neighbours thought he has only lived there since Christmas he said well he had to pass the door.
I was worried about him living on his own and in and upstairs flat but he said his mates have been calling in brining him food and DvD they all all Paramdics and work shifts so he is alright there,he does have company more than I get at times.
Time to cook lunch now and then look through the last file and see what I can dump.
I was watching a programe on an animal rescure place and they were asking for newspaper for putting into the anlmal pens what a shame I dont live near them . and what a good way to recycle.

Glad to hear your Son is not lonely and IS being fed !

Rita, I got rid of my fish fryer for that reason, I hated changing the oil what a mess it is.
If I have chips they would oven one ones and that goes for anything else what I used to fry ....what I used to fry now goes in the oven .

I'm cooking a fish pie for my friends tonight.....a little different with red lentils in with the potatoes..... and cream cheese & yogurt with the king prawns & fish.
Hope it turns out OK ,never done this recipe before .!

I'm about to start to prepare.

Marilyn that sounds lovely, I could just eat some. I like the sound of the cream cheese and yoghurt with king prawns.

Rita, I'm the same as Marilyn, everything I used to fry, gets done in the oven now - apart from eggs.

i like lilly of the vally thay smell nice i dont plant winter flowers as its to windy were i am will put some bizzy lizzy in lat may maybe

I love pansies (the flowery ones ). They remind me off little faces. And the colours are lovely as well.
I have lots off bluebells as well. I don't know how we got them as I didn't plant them. Ive heard off magic mushrooms,but never magic bluebells.

Hi all, well he went to his son's before midday which was great, out of my hair for a while, hope it snows like mad where he is so he can't get back lol
Unfortunately I have been in and out the loo all day, and sleeping the rest of the time, don't know if it was something I ate, maybe they put something in my free icecream to pay me back for saying the steak was overdone lol
Or it could have been the cheese and ham panini I made myself at 4am while I was on the computer. I felt fine when I went to bed, just tired enough to sleep and o.h. only disturbed me a bit as he was packing to leave, (Oh I wish lol - but's it's his house!) Then I had to get up for the loo quickly and have been like it most of the day. Had such plans to go out somewhere and enjoy the freedom and bring something nice in for my dinner! Just had toast and cup of black tea, o.h. did bring me a cuppa in before he left but no thanks for all the bus times to the station I left out for him!

I do have a cast iron griddle pan but not sure I wouldn't do my wrist in having to lift it high enough to bring down with a satisfactory whack on his bonce so better not use that. If things get bad enough I will issue you all tickets to have a swipe at him lol

Got the two pms from Marilyn, one wishing me happy birthday and then another postponing the wishes! At the bottom of the screen was the Postman Pat ad for Spec Savers lol

Anyway off to make another cup of black tea, just had some toast so will hope it helps to settle my tum and I feel better lately, it's a hassle feeling like this with only an upstairs loo altho I suppose I might lose a bit of weight lol

Catch you all sometimes, enjoy your flowers, I should be getting a clump of lily of the valley soon from the garden of a friend of o.h's - he died before Christmas but when I popped a message round a few months ago he said I cuold go and get some of his lily of the valley when I wanted so his cousin called last week and said they have nearly cleared the house and will be putting it on the market soon, have to dig some lilies up and hope I can find them while they are buried underground.

Liz ,trust you to be unwell when he's away. Are you sure he never put something in the cuppa he bought up to you before he left. Perhaps he crushed up some sennacot,and put it in your cup,just because he does not want you to have fun when he's not there. Men can be so crafty when they want to be.
I wonder how Lady got on today.

no I was unwell before he left. He has just left a message asking if I am ok, I was at the shop over the road when he called getting lots of bargains so will let him sweat a little while lol I can pretend I missed seeing the machine flashing to say there was a message lol
