Morning Rita and all others who might be latecomers as it's Sunday!!
You were asking what we had to eat? Well it was a Thai restaurant. Starters included wrapped prawns, crispy wonton parcel, duck in a parcel, chicken satay, crispy noodles and salad, with four sauces. Main was red thai chicen curry, crispy chilli beef, king prawn & veg, mixed veg stir fry, sticky rice and soft noodles too. Dessert was mango sorbee for me, raspberry sorbee for one friend, hubby had chocolate cheesecake and the last one had pancakes stuffed with coconut. The men had beer to drink and the ladies had J2O. It was a nice evening.
I shopped yesterday morning with youngest, she got bits for her hen weekend away. I got two birthday gifts for February, and extra bargains too.
Dog sat in the evening.
Hubby has gone to work back around 5:00.
I am putting together the wedding invitations so must crack on this morning.
Be back later
Have a good day

Yes weddings what a worry you hope you have not forgotton to do anything then you check and check again even at the last minute you check. I was like that with two of mine My daughter first then my eldest son as l made the cake and did all the tables myself including the flowers and food l had 120 at one wedding the other one my son did help me for hour. but everything went off well. The youingest got married a broad they wanted to get married on a Beach so family didnt go only their two little daughters they had been living together then for 8 years but we had a wedding tea when they came back two weeks afterwards.

Hi everybody.
Rita, you did well with your son's wedding, catering for 120 people yourself. When my brother got married, my sister and I did the catering. It was hard work, I got the job of scraping and boiling all the potatoes. I think there was a couple of hundred people there.
Linda, the meal sounded lovely, I would have had 'duck in a parcel' for starter, 'crispy chilli beef with sticky rice' for main meal and 'cheesecake' for dessert. We had Indian take-away last night and I ate far too much!!
Shelly, how do you manage to write a page for each of those questions? Were our answers the bones and you put the meat on them? Do you have any more questions you want some bony answers to? We might be able to give you a couple of little bones you can add to your answer - that's if we can understand the question....lol
Mo, all those hairdressers in your family and you pay someone else to do it? If your hair is really short and you just get a wet cut, it wouldn't take up much of their time. Rita's right, you could buy a little present instead of offering money.
Well Lady, you've had quite a time of it haven't you? Mind you, it's your mother I felt sorry for - having your company when you were in a foul mood..........lol
What made you change your mind about IE8? Have you tried Firefox?
The nose bleed was a bit strange, are you feeling alright now?

Hello girls. Well Pauline,I think your luck must have brushed off on me. I went to Bingo this afternoon with my daughter. And I won £15.00,my daughter won £50.00,so we were as pleased as punch. BUT,they have a link game, where the money is £1,000 for one line,£2,000 for two lines, and £3,000 for the full house. Someone from our club won the £3,000,and as she called up on a number that included the number 5,she also won an extra, now get this,£25,000,so she ended up by winning £28,000. Now how lucky was that. The poor woman was shell shocked. Mind you I think I would have passed out.

Shelly, thats why I don't go to often now. But I don't play online. It's surprising how many people go outside at break times,to have a smoke. Mind you,I found it hard when they first brought the no smoking rule in,especially at darts. Cig in one hand, darts in the other,it spoilt my balance not having one lit whilst playing. lol Oh my we are sad,not being able to give up,but after all these years,I just can't do it. We are nearly as bad as some drug addicts, but then nicotine is a drug.

Morning Ladies Well I have the 1 year old today as her Mum went for an interview on Friday and was asked to start today !!! The baby who cried is still at home for now as her Mum lost her job before she went back after maternity leave. I don't think she will find a job easily. So not sure if she will come back. If M the one year old comes more days then I think I will just have her as I do get tired easier than before. At least until I am fit and well again.
Hubby has gone to work. He is off for the next 3 days. Maybe we will get out ourselves tomorrow.
Oh well I'd best get the house ready for when M comes.
Be back much later

Morning all even if it is dull outside. Not worried as I have the washing todo to-day good job I dont have to hang it out to dry. I saw Marylins thread early on. I didnt know you were interested in the graves of the war Shelly I spent two weeks in Belgian a few years back and did a tour of them it was heart breaking but I kept at it. I spent the weekend sorting out the files I have for the last 6 years and got rid of a lot as they were either doubled up or out dated and I found a better filing system. I have only done two books so far and even then not completed all I still have about 6 book ring files to go. but it was worth it I filled a black sack up with shredded paper.. My Granddaughter Rebecca is 16 today (wish I was ) she asked her father for UGGER BOOTs I didnt know what they were (not sure if I have spelt that right ) anyway she has got them. what a price to pay for a pair of boots. well I am off now speak later

rita have you seen this site twgpp.org
thay try and get volunteers, to take photos of the war grave i have done some work for them in my local cemeterys if you have not seen the site take a look very intresting and if you have eny ancesters that died in the war 1 and 2 thay may have a photo of the head stone
iv copyed and past i little info from there site for you to read
the aim of The War Graves Photographic Project is to photograph every war grave, individual memorial, MoD grave, and family memorial of serving military personnel from WWI to the present day and make these available within a searchable database.
Now working as a joint venture with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this will enable families, scholars and researchers to obtain, via the CWGC or TWGPP websites, a copy of the photograph of a grave or memorial which for many is impossible to visit due to the location.
This service has only been made possible through the efforts of a dedicated group of volunteers, from all walks of life, who feel the need to Remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and who realise the importance for families to see where their loved ones are laid to rest or commemorated. This emulates the CWGC ethos to 'Remember in Perpetuity'
This project aims to photograph in excess of 1.75 million graves or memorials from Commonwealth Nations and many from other military forces around the world.
Please use the search facility to check if a photograph is currently held and available but please remember that the CWGC records hold 1.75 million casualties so we have a little more work to do before the archive can be considered complete.
rita thay sent me the head stone of my granfather that died in ww2 my mum her twin sister was only 3 when there dad died and there baby brother was only 6 days old if it was not though this site thay would of nether seen there dads resting place as he is layed to rest in germany.

Thats interesting to know Shelly I took a lot or photos and had them put into the local Paper with a message telling people who lost their loved ones during the 1st World war that I had visited the graves and how all were looked after flowers placed on them regulally and the head stones washed and the grass was cut. it amazed me I had a lot of response from people thanking me for that, they had never been able to afford to go out there and other reasons why they couldnt I dont know where I place the photo now but I did a long write up about it. that was in Ypes.
you dont stand much chance of getting photo of head stones in this country now as they were not looked after and disintergrate I noticed that when my sister and I visited the cemeteries in Devon looking for our family.
