And talking about Queens........ Queen Victoria became Queen on the
20th June 1837..........174 years ago today.......just a wee bit more useless information.

I write letter some of my friends do not have computers. so I write once a month and them to Cumbria. Newcastle and Linconshire and Norfolk. so I do still put pen to paper.
I send alot of emails as well to others.

I had a hectic morning. I went to the Dentist back next Monday. I called into the doctors to get an earlier appointment for my warafin blood test.
then came back phoned for an appointment for the foot doctor he is calling this afternoon at 4 oclock.
I phoned the care people to see if they could arrange a car for me for 29th June for my CT scan to take me to Ashford Hospital. no reply yet.
I did two loads of washing. then did my dinner.
I got a call to remind me of the strawberry tea next Thursday. and The Rotary club phone to remind me of the outing for a drive around Surrey and to stop for tea.

Not me , I hated writing letters, I wrote so many when Pete was in the Navy that I feel I did it for a life time.

I only write in cards now....sadly .

But that's history now....besides the postal stamps needs a piggy bank !! :-S

Alistair Cooke, famous for his weekly 'Letter from America' died in 2004.

Morning all, it took me a while to read all the posts, haven't had the lappy on since Friday.

We've had heavy rain for 2 days, so we just sat watching DVDs, I've never felt so lazy.

Thank you everybody for all the birthday wishes, it's cheered me up. The weather's picked up as well........... we've got sunshine today.

Nightmare !

It took me from 5.45am until just a few minutes ago to get my Computer up and running.

BT were working on the Broadband Network throughout the Country and caused a real problem.

Finished up having to have it fixed remotely by an Operator in India or someplace :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(
