Morning all, it's bright and sunny here but really windy. A good day for drying the washing.

Good luck Rita, hope it goes well for you.

One of my keys has popped off........... my backspace key, and I can't get it back on again. I use that key a lot because I make so many typing mistakes.

Sorry Shelly, I don't know anything about pumpkins, I've never grown them.

I'll be going out in about an hour but I'll try to do a bit on my tree first.

Dermot, I've got no idea.

There were 250 Aboriginal languages spoken in Australia before the European invasion.

Anyone know how many languages are spoken in the UK at the moment?

Shelly Pumpkins will take over, just like courgettes and squash all sorts of marrows. You will need lots of water. Not that that is a problem at the moment !!!

Morning Rita
I hope the scan goes OK for you this morning and that the results are good.
Sun is up this morning so I have the washing ready. Yesterdays is on the airer as it didn't dry at all indoors. Might need to hang it out later.
Mo I did lots of knitting yesterday, the back and two fronts of a small cardigan with some white baby wool I already had. Should get the sleeves done today. Yes my daughter does want hand knitted things as she has already asked me if I can make some sleeping bags as they had when they were babies. I asked if she didn't want bought velvety ones but she said NO she wanted me to make them. So I am happy to do that for her.

Have a good day everyone

Linda :-) <3

Morning Catherine. Jean.,Sue,Linda.. Pat. Pauline ,Shelley. Dermot. Stephen. Marilyn . Agatha. Yvonne. Maddie Mo , Lady and anyone I have left off the list.

nice blue sky this morning what a day yesterday was we had rain and more rain and thunder and lightening it never stopped it was about 6 before it finally bowed out.

I have been up since 6 had a shower had a cup of tea and three little biscuits I must not have anything to eat or drink four hours before my scan. Then when I get to the hospital I have to drink 1 litre of Aniseed with orange or blackcurrant then I have idione injections in my arm. before my scan. horrible. the scan takes about 30 minutes. so it is a long morning and I will not be back before 2.30 .
so I popped in to wish you all a good day plenty of sunshine

see you later I Hope ??????

Cath, yes Shelly poked her head round the door this morning at about 8.30 a.m.

My god Sue, is that really you, or a mirage. I know you have been on facebook, as your face keeps popping up in front of me. lol

Everything is crossed for Rita tomorrow. Good luck love, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Pauline I think my bridesmaid dress was cerise pink, but it was soooo long ago I have forgotten.

Congratulations Linda, it was the surprise I thought you were going to get.
The knitting will now have to be for closer to home. At least I hope your daughter likes home made garments.

I wonder if Pat is enjoying her holiday. Lets hope she has had nice weather.

We had an almighty storm this afternoon. A house at the back of my sons, got hit by lightening, and they had to have two fire engines and crew, to put the fire out.
Our garden got flooded by the amount of rain that came down, and my poor potted plants have started to wilter, from the weight of the rain.
Oh well back to square one with them I suppose. Lots of loving tender care for them.

Evening all and hello to Sue.
I've been keeping busy today, thought I'd start 'unhoarding' and that turned into a major task :-P
Been thinking of my dad a lot, I can't believe he's been gone 16 years already. I would love to have him back for a chat now I've discovered so much about our family history. Taking flowers to cemetery tomorrow as I had little ones here today and they were very rowdy. Will have a quiet half hour with him in the morning after work.
Weather wise it was warm, sunny and windy, great for the pile of washing I did.
Was I imagining it or did Shelly fly in and out earlier :-D
Hope everyone is well and good luck to Rita for tomorrow, will be thinking of you. Jean hope you're doing well.
Ah well, time to go get the car washed, ROFL
;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Agatha, our Sue is poshpixie, she loves horses and cats. We've tried to marry her off a couple of times............... even had bridesmaid dresses made for us - but she backed out.

Marilyn's dress was lime green, I think Shelly's dress was peach (or maybe it was yellow) and mine was mauve...... I think.

Pleased you got your water back on.

Edit: I'm busy sorting through passenger lists, my eyes are going a bit funny now.
