Helloooooo.

I am wearing a catsuit today, with a trendy hat. Posh one day, and casual the next.

I have been to Oxford Street today, looking for bargains. I have bought a lovely blue top from Wallis, so am very pleased with my purchase.

I will probably wear it tomorrow with a pair of white linen trousers [yes Marilyn and I are the linen sisters] and a black linen jacket.

Mr K. are I are going out for the day, tis our Anniversaire [38th] so will be having a bit of us time.

Hope everyone is well. Marilyn pick yer chin up orft the floor.

My son emailed me to say they had a realy bad down pour this morning what was my weather like? I said beautiful at the moment blue sky and the sun was shinning. now I have a big black cloud over head. I am going to blow hard in a moment and give it to someone else.
I have just ,made a shepherds pie with runner beans followed by rice pudding for my dinner today. I am trying to empty my freeser so I can defrost.but when I go shopping I see something nice and buy it so my freezer get left with other meats in.

I was thinking if the Government are getting rid of our forces and going to rely on TA's They might start up a Dads Army they can use wooden broom handles and wooden guns to practice with like they did in the last war till they can afford to buy the proper guns and riffles.
so they get cheap forces
. I wonder how many of those will join up ?afterall the MP's seem to be all for this cutting the troops numbers. I cannot wait to see Cameron and all the others in their uniforms.

Morning all.

It's dark and damp here, not nice at all, I'll be going out later so I hope it brightens up.

I got soaked yesterday, had to go to the school for my niece's last assembly in primary school. We were all standing in a long queue waiting for the teachers to let us in when the heavens opened. Seeing us all get soaked didn't make them open the doors any earlier!

Shelly, I didn't expect you to go back to smoking............ I thought you had it beat.

Mo, when your back eases up a bit can you come and clean my drive please? It's our patio that's the worst, it's quite long....... and very dirty, I hate cleaning it.

Rita .

I think the cheapest packet of ciggies cost around £7, that's why most people roll their own ..

Rita ...not next year !!..... I haven't had all my holiday 's for this year yet .. :-D

Just had my bath,
Pete has gone to my sons to take him to get a removal van as he is moving soon and wants to store some furnisher until the house is vacant .

Its dull overcast here ....not nice at all .

Rita Report 20 Jul 2011 08:32

Marilyn dont be sad just start booking your next years holidays I am sure you have many of those to go on ..

Here the weather is miserable thats why you see so many people walking about with no smiles on their faces. O for some sunshine when everyone smiles ( well nearly everyone )

I think your stay youing for every Stephen for the sake of your grandchildren,
Shelly at least you have grown something to eat.

IN the Hotel I stayed at we made friends with a husband and wife he use to smoke but packdt it up years ago, but Sandie could not she use to go outside to the meeting place which was for smokers. (if you smoked in the Hotel you were warned you would be fined £150)
she would pop out just after she had eaten at breakfast time and again in the evening after dinner and during the evening I expect she smoked during the day as we didnt see them much during the day. but the thing was she carried a ashtray with her looked like a pill box but was on a chain . this she emptied at night into the special ciggie metal box outside the hotel but in nthe gorunds of the hotel.
she said she had tried to give it up but had not managed to do it. so she smoked on. I said that must cost you a fortune she said her ciggies cost her around £6 a packet. I didnt like to ask how many packets she smoked.,but it must have been an awful lot.

Morning All !

Jean.....As usual a great breakfast.
Yep ! Really glad my family are back safe and sound. They are all bronzed with the sun and looking great.
Eilidh, my 7 year old Grandaughter wants me to go next time so that we can swim in the sea together. She cant wait until she's older and we can put on the diving tanks and swim with the fish underwater.
I've told her the tale of my friend Jim who found treasure in the sea at the Scilly Isles.....and she keeps wanting to find treasure.....'When can we do that Grandad?' she always asks.

I'd better hurry up before I'm too old ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Damp and miserable here this morning, but supposed to clear away later

Bacon, eggs, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes.
Toast, hot rolls or waffles.
Tea or coffee.

Stephen you must be happy to have your family home, hope they enjoyed their holiday.
Marilyn hope you are feeling less fed up today, maybe it was caused by the weather.
May your day be everything you would like it to be.
