Rita

Rita Report 22 Jul 2011 16:01

Dermot as if I would cause you more expense with getting intouch with a legal adviser..
I thought a war might start on that thread so knew I could get you on this one.

Like you list Dermot how do you do it ?

Dermot

Dermot Report 22 Jul 2011 15:32

Now I know how Rupert & James Murdoch must have felt when their presences were requested - nay, demanded the other day!

But I suppose it may not be so bad for me if it's just Rita & Agatha asking the questions. I had better contact my legal adviser, just in case.

I just read Dermot's thread Rita, I think your right, he better go and explain himself.
It announced in our local paper on wednesday that my bank was going to be turned into a takeaway, I thought well they could have let me know it was closing, but it turns out they put the wrong banks name in the paper.

Rita

Rita Report 22 Jul 2011 13:48

DERMOT

your new thread is calling for you.people as wanting to know what you meant. about the curfew.

I had letter telling me my bank would not accept a direct debit for my insurance so I have been sorting that out, the insurance company said it was there fault they had given the wrong numbers. they told me not to worry as my insurance ran out on 12th and they have only just written to ask me to fill in another direct debit form so I phoned and got it sorted. it seems they entered the wrong numbers they rechecked. they said I was still insuirance as it was their fault. the next amount comes out in September. My bank is still in Norfolk.

Then I had a letter from the doctors surgery telling me I had to go and see them on 12th August about a vascular problem

so I am busy now trying to catch up on things.

Dermot dont forget your needed.on that thread.

Apologies if you have seen these before - but, it is funny Friday!

1. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.

2. A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start anything."

3. Two peanuts walk into a bar and one was a salted.

4. A dyslexic man walks into a bra.

5. A man walks into a bar with a slab of asphalt under his arm and says: "A beer please, and one for the road."

6. Two cannibals are eating a clown. One says to the other: "Does this taste funny to you?"

7. "Doc, I can't stop singing 'The Green, Green Grass of Home.'" That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome." "Is it common?" "Well, It's Not Unusual."

8. Two cows are standing next to each other in a field. Daisy says to Dolly,"I was artificially inseminated this morning." "I don't believe you," says Dolly. "It's true, no bull!" exclaims Daisy.

9. An invisible man marries an invisible woman. The kids were nothing to look at either.

10. Deja Moo: The feeling that you've heard this bull before.

11. I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.

12. I went to a seafood disco last week...and pulled a mussel.

13. What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh.

14. Two fish swim into a concrete wall. The one turns to the other and says "Dam!".

15. Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

16. A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse. "But why," they asked, as they moved off. "Because", he said, "I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer."

17. A woman has twins and gives them up for adoption. One of them goes to a family in Egypt and is named "Ahmal." The other goes to a family in Spain; they name him "Juan." Years later, Juan sends a picture of himself to his birth mother. Upon receiving the picture, she tells her husband that she wishes she also had a picture of Ahmal. Her husband responds, "They're twins! If you've seen Juan, you've seen Ahmal."

18. Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot! most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him ..a super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

19. Finally, there was the person who sent twenty different puns to his friends, with the hope that! at least ten of the puns would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.

But the sky is blue and the sun is appearing so that will cheer me up. I was up at six made a cup of tea and watched the news. The news gets worse everyday.

All this problem with the Euro and Greece. I thought Greece had put in to have the Games there ? but I must have made a mistake as they are flat broke. Thank god we didnt go into that section Euro money.

Pauline I too am having trouble with this site, the funny thing is , that it appears to be worse on the friendly thread than on the others. I noticed they have altered the drop-down when you get onto the site it is now a different colour and easier to see but still you have a problem getting through.

Hi everyone.
Just a quickie to let you know that my nephew is being sent home. He has a viral infection, that has to work it's way out of his system by itself. No anti-biotics at all. But thank the lord it was nothing to do with his brain problems.

His girlfriend had the flu herself, and didnt take much notice of Marks condition. She's a selfish little madam and cares for no one but herself.
It's unbelieveable their baby was born in may, so who the devil was looking after him, while they were both unwell. It beggars belief doesn't it.
His mother normally pops in daily to see them, but on this occasion she had other things to do.

A happy anniversary Maddie. I love it when a marriage lasts the test of time.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Carrying on Jeniwren's chain of love and good wishes.
