David it is not just the eye strain, I am partially sighted and could manage to read the boards before because of the colour and layout. This is terribly hard for me to see and like Debs I have an awful headache now. I may have to consider not renewing my subs when the time comes, no point if I can't read messages. It will be a shame as I am disabled and housebound and made a lot of friends on here, it's a lifeline to me. I'm very disappointed in the change.

I don't like it either. It feels that we are being pushed out of the way to make room for adverts. Is this site now for the advertisers benefit and not Genes members?

I'm being very serious when I say this, but I am getting a headache because of the contrast/brightness/colour of the boards.
I have light sensitive eyes and get immediate headaches if it is too bright.

I like the family tree page. The text on the boards is a little small. Am I right in saying there is no delete button? That would be a great improvement.

A bit too squished. They could make the page a bit bigger (about 4") and make the Board Summary a bit smaller.

I quite like the new look. The tree looks great and I think is clearer.
