Liz, I am sooo sorry and sad to hear about your friend Liz.

Know exactly what you are going through, because I lost my best friend in september 2006.It was extremely painful to see how skeletal she had become, so vunerable.Horrible, and there was nothing I could do to help or change this.
Keep strong for her and her loved ones, and.. for yourself.

Love from Eileen xxx

Liz, may your friend Liz have a very peaceful and painfree passing, may her father and family have the strength to get through this very sad time for them,
She will live in your heart forever Liz, in the times that you had together and the things that you both did.

You are both in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time,
Bless,
Betty.

Thanks all.

Linda, last time I saw her at the hospice, she was in a lot of pain, and curled up under the sheet for a while till she came out and spoke to me and another friend visiting. While she was curled up, she looked so tiny and like a child - she was never huge but never skinny before. She looked so vulnerable then and so gaunt and pained.
Can't even think of how she is looking now, more than a week on with so little food, her Dad told me on Saturday she was pingling, and trying to eat to please him.
How cruel life is.

Liz, I firmly believe that ,whether you say your goodbye to her by her bedside or 'from' your home, she will hear you .

If you decide to go I think you will find you will be able to say goodbye without too many tears ( though they will come later) and it may help you more really than it will her...she will know you care anyway...but saying goodbye to her there will help you in letting go maybe...

(((((hugs)))) to you and wishing your friend a gentle journey home .
