I am Ex RAF served both in Falklands and Gulf (first time around).
Should have finished it off then (my own personal opinion). Many people have voiced the same sentiments. If they had finished the job in the first place then what has happened since the "BUSH & BLAIRE COALITION" would not be happening.
With reference to it being legal or not then I am not sure. Personally I believe that it was an illegal act and should not have happened, but, will George and Tony be brought to justice?.... I doubt it very much!!!

As stated am ex forces and went where I was ordered to go ....Government paid wages so had no choice in the matter.

With reference to what pablo said I and a lot of my friends think that George W had instructions from Daddy to finish what he chose not to the first time around.

Cynical maybe, but an awful of of justification was given for the invasion, very little of which was proven afterwards.

Just the opinion of a bunch of 50 - 65 year olds.

The first ship PINCHER, the last ship ALBION. In between TENBY. The cushiest ships on loan to RFAs FORT DUQUESNE. FORT ROSALIE and a mad two months on the BROWN RANGER... Unfortunately not many shore stations, if any.....

RE your statement Ray about our troops defending Britain .
When was the last time they did that.
History tells us of campaigns and missions any where but Britain.
And yes i do realise because i'm old and maybe a bit wiser that they are paid by the government to do government work, but that does not mean they can't have an opinion. us
