You can drink it...that much I know..it is actually quite a sterile fluid..wouldn`t advise it..unless an emergency!lol |

When rabbit fur was used to make the hats (i.e. felt), in order to make it mat and to soften the hairs, a solution of Mercury Nitrate ( i think thats what it was) was used to treat the pelts. The hatmakers breathed it in and it affected their brains. |

There is such a disease that effects the brain and is caused by mercury but am not sure of the rest :-) |
