I've still got 21st birthday card + every birthday/Christmas card from OH saying he loves me, loves me more each day .... Ahh!!!

They werent so much love letters but I did get some from a lad I was seeing who was in the army.

We wrote to each other for years after we split up just as friends.

I am writting one for myself now, will put in the post next week.

GUESS A LOT OF US LOST OUT

I've got a large bundle of letters and cards from a relationship I had about 15 years ago. We lived 60 miles apart and both of us were avid writers! It was a very intense, romantic time but I always knew that it wouldn't last because he was a bit of a b*****d! I keep them because they're part of my life and my past, even though I'm now happily married.

When I write one to myself I WILL put the best words in. All from the heart.

use to have them years ago, used to go out with a chap in Hereford, was with him 12 months only saw him weekends he had one of those scooters lol,
had a accident on it, put me in hospital for a week,his mother came to see me [ first time] took a instant dislike to me, she with held all my letters from him she didn't want her lad with a townie, his dad and nan were lovely the nan told me she burnt them so his letters were burnt lol

Only one man ever sent me love letters/notes/cards .............

even to the extent of tracking down the address of my hotel in Turkey 4 weeks into our relationship

foolishly i got rid of them in an attempt to free myself of the past and move on

shouldn't have bothered cos 13 years later we are still best buddies and he still sends me little texts and e-cards to say he is thinking of me :O))
