me to, spoke to the oh of person involved, having been in the same position myself...nearly mugged..cos i was in uniform think they thought i had drugs on me..left me scared of men on motor bikes,,
i still have to do night duty... scared ..but you wont stop me ....,,xxxxx

What the bl**dy hell is the good of 5 months, should be 5 years.

Send them for six months to one of the poor countries for where people have nothing,make them work helping to dig wells for water,planting crops and so on,let them know what its like to have to work to live,and that life isn't handed to you on a plate.

I was mugged in Jamaica a number of years ago, the offenders were caught and taken to the police station where when they appeared in court they were heavily bruised...The Prosecuter told the judge that they had fallen down stairs at the police station, the judge didn't seem to want to question how this could happen in a single storey building

You know in some countrys, if somebody is cought stealing or mugging, they have a hand cut off. Needless to say they don't have a big problem with this where that goes on. Just a thought.

I don't think I would like to see his hand cut off but I did expect a suitable punishment and what really annoyed me was he had more human rights than I did ...a law abibing person.....British justice stinks and its the Police I feel sorry for...

I think prisons should be as selfsafishant as possable .that all inmates should work a full day making goods that can be sold at competative prices should do night school in the evenings for a couple of hours.this way less taxes would go to keep them going they learn what it is to work hard, there time is taken up leaveing them no time to get board and fight.Sentences sould fit the crime and 2years should mean just that.

Well..update,,
Ex members wife is now in hospital for a check up and it looks like nothing much is going to happen to the muggers,,The law is an ass...

that is just so typical polly is makes you sick this country needs a kick up the backside and as this is my hometown it brings it closer to home and makes me feel even more angry.
