Muffy, if your boy had rough collie and bearded collie in him then it's quite possible, lol

He was a spaniel something or other so no.....maybe they are second cousins twice removd or something lolol xx

pmsl Robin........that's labrador pups.......my pup will be a collie..........she'd make sure you were where you were supposed to be but she def wouldn't nick the loo roll lol xx

When i went to pick my new pup, there were 9 of them, 8 were lassies dog coloued and running wild, one was all black and fast asleep. I chose the black one thinking he must be the quiet one............ how wrong was i, lmaooooo

Inoculations, a rip off, as after 2 years your dog is fully inoculated but a kennel wont take them if they aren't so you need to find a dog sitter if you want 24 hrs away

When it's raining and taken for a walk, paw prints everywhere

but................................

the love they give is indescribable, out ways all the above

Mind you Muffy - you are at home a lot in the daytime - good time to get a puppy and train it (Puppy school is a must).

Will there still be someone at home so much in couple of years time?

I said no to another one while we still had Lucy because of my condition and not being able to take it out, that was until little Scotty melted my heart and is perfick cos he is so old( 17 or 18) he cant go out on walks just in the garden every few hours.

What is it about those little eyes and ears that melt your heart.

Muffy we always had two dogs and everytime we lost one I wold say no more and everytime I would relent I did keep my word when we were left with the last German Shepherd as she was getting old and was hard work said after she went no more couldn't stand a house without a dog and ended up at the animal sancutuary.
Oh remember when I got my last GS I had said no wouldn't get one like the one we had lost, go on mum they said just look so off we went I said well if one comes to me then yes what happens all 3 came running Elsa got to me first so I brought her home she was the best friend I ever had. So if your heart tells you then go pick one but don't forget you will get your heart broke again but all the love inbetween is so worth it.
