I want another dog sooooooooooo badly but I promised myself I'd wait the two years.........there are pups down the road from me and I'm resisting the temptation to go and see them.........
BUT it's SO HARD.

Why are you waiting? Who knows what will happen in another 2 years time - we might have a nuclear explosion and those puppies will have lost out on a kind caring mummy. lol

So let me get this straight.

There are two dogs in the household who are no doubt ...................... dogs doing what dogs do.

And now my good friend Muffy is tempted to upset innumerable applecarts by doting over an uneducated juvenile who can be guaranteed to chew every item of furniture and personal belongings that is not sealed off, and to deposit tokens of their presence wherever it takes their fancy, and to stick their nose in everyone else's dinner.

Faz Ozzy has taken shreds out of the side of one of my leather armchairs ....... it really is a reminder why you dont want pets!!! He is in the dog house even though a cat!!!!!

Never had a problem before but he just decided ooh that looks fun, bugger the tree in the garden the two scratching posts - the rugs or fence .... No lets shred Mummys armchair!

Er yes. lol. I got my youngest dog two days after my new leather sofa arrived.........shows how bothered I am lol.I had a boy dog that chewed a whole stair and poo'd everywhere in the first two and the last two years of his life.........a puppy is a doddle compared to that lol xx

pmsl Stray i've always (up to now) stuck to the rule that I don't get a pup til oldest dog is 8......it has always worked so well........two young ones play together like loonies and the eldest one stays with me and gets old lady/man privileges........
My eldest Fleur is no where close to needing old lady privileges......thank goodness..... she's like an over grown pup ....it's pure WANT on my part really....... I think I just miss having an old lady/man by my side it's not really even puppy hunger I have .......BUT I can't take an old dog in as my house is too hectic and I can't be sure of an older dogs temprament.... It's the steady old un I miss I think.......xx
