Hi Jax - good to see you back :O))

Is the controller in the pack cordless or do I need to buy special ones ???

Shelli4 Report 7 Apr 2008 11:44

Anita

you'll get the console, 1 controller, 1num chuck plus wii sports as Jax said. But shop around as prices will vary, also the shops will do bundles. You'll get a game or two inculded in the bundle price. Games work out bit cheaper this way.

I was exactly the same as you. Tho I kept thinking about getting one, but kept saying I couldn't justify spending all that money on another console ( kids have several) Went on friends to please her son really, and never looked back. Brought my own console within 2 days. And now the kids are the ones begging me cos they want to play my wii!!!!

LOL !!! Welcome to the world of the Wii lololol

Argos do a great console deal but it's home del only. Works out to be about £180 inc del.

You get the controller, one numchuck (sp) Wii sports and the console itself. You can buy extras later on but that will start you off.

I've pre ordered the wii fit and am getting it for my birthday......so I'll let you know if it's any good lol xx

I felt it was hard to justify but went ahead anyhow and don't regret it one bit....... My mum is round every day using it too......it IS great exercise and great fun too .........my advice to anyone would be go for it.........but whatever you do don't play it for three hours solid on the first day, like I did ....... I couldn't move my right arm for two days lol xx

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 7 Apr 2008 11:51

Well yes it's a fair chunk of money - but i have the luxury of a few pennies to spare for a treat just now - and i figure it's got to be cheaper than a gym membership or loads of exercise dvd's that i don't use lolol

*hurries off to Argos in her lunchbreak*

Julie - where have you seen that offer ???

Shelli4

Shelli4 Report 7 Apr 2008 12:01

Julie

thats sounds like a good deal, as the mega pack retails at appox £30 alone. Console plus sport is about £180. So thats £210. And if you don't like the games there are various shops where you can trade them in, for cash or part exchange on a different game.

Anyone for tennis?

I love it too and tennis is my favourite....so if you fancy a game McAnne....

I really want the Wii Fit. Do you reckon it's best to pre order it? I reckon it might sell out pretty quick
