i agree kitty people have there reasons and its not just the resent upset its personal

so being negative dont help
i also agree with elaine people have very serious worry but no one knows everythign about everyone on here

i no i defo dont show when im upset or ill i deal with it in my own way but thats just the way i am
so people really shouldnt judge unless they no the whole story
and on that note im of to watch the end of the footy

I dont usually voice an opinion but tonight I feel I must have a say......

Over these last couple of days I have been reading the boards and it seems to me that there are a minor few that take great delight in upsetting people.
I have been a member on here for about 4yrs now but didn’t start posting until last year when I made and met some new friends.
These friends have now, slowly been leaving because of the few.

I find this disgraceful as these boards are a way of communication for people near and far…if you like, a lifeline. It is a chat board where there should be all sorts of Topics of discussion displayed and of course the ‘fun’ threads which are entertaining and of good will.

The majority of people on here, are for the chat, fun and advice that other members can offer and enjoy are being hounded by pm,s and untoward postings on threads.

I appreciate that everyone has their own opinions, and should be able to post them but the nastieness that I have witnessesed of late is beyond my reckoning.

If these people leave, and they know who I,m talking about….
Then the minority have won …….

This should not be a political battlefield for mindgames

suze, I could not agree more. It happens every time we get a small group on here whose main pleasure seems to be hounding people. I really am not aware of what has gone on this time but I have seen Catherine leaving, One of the most popular and fair people on here, Keith has left, Now Fi. is leaving. it is so sad because the ones left in the end will be the ones who caused the trouble in the first place.

I am not saying people should stay if they have problems off the boards and can't cope with the pressure of nasty PMs etc. But it might be a good idea, if you still have time to run on your membership to just stay off the boards for a month or so and see if you want to come back later. For one thing leaving and rejoining is not cheap.

Elaine, people suffer from illnesses etc to different levels (for want of a better word). Jean is fantastic, she is somebody i admire tremendously for her spirit and fortitude. However, we are not all like Jean, to some of us a much smaller problem with our health is insurmountable and some can't take that and fight the aggro they receive on here. That doesn't mean they are weak, we are all different. and, as I believe I said on a thread yesterday, we none of us can judge what other people are suffering, or even whether we think they are suffering at all until we have walked a mile in their shoes.

Sorry but I said the truth. Ive seen real suffering in the lives of a few on the boards and was appealing for people to get things into perspective as they throw away their membership to leave.

obviously any one postin on here that the goes on about people needin this site dont know Fi,,then these boards were a place she needed ...she has had crap an i mean crap!!!..we all moan but she is one of the bravest ladies i have ever known!!!

Here here SG, she is one truly magnificent lady and I was proud to have met up with her and hope to do so next time she is up visiting her in laws.

me too skeggy, one very brave lady is fi and most people dont know about what she has had to put up with !
