They were great days eh Laptop? When our summers were so hot.
Did you ever go to the Marconi club at Lavernock Point or The Golden Hind Pub/Night club?
We used to stay at holiday bungalow at Lavernock point in the middle 60's with my 2 eldest children. We had some brilliant times there.

Maisie, no I didn't. In the 60's I was still a small child and my Sis didn't live at Lavernock for long. They then moved to Bridgend which wasn't as much fun !

Glad this brought some more of you together, love the BB Day!
Bright and dry but very breezy still here in Norwich, one or two daffs out in the garden.

Cheers to you all.

Any truth in the rumour that the Government intends to encrypt its disks using the Welsh language. Then, it won't matter too much if the disks are subsequently 'lost' - hardly anyone outside Wales would be able to decipher the content.

Have a nice day!

A Happy St.D's day to all.

Have to say, it's amusing to see Prince Charles with a leek in his lapel, surely he would have been better off with a daffodil?

Joanna

Joanna Report 1 Mar 2008 16:47

P.C. is Colonel-in-Chief of The Welsh Guards - and the leek is their emblem - and I think they have it as their cap badge.

Happy St. David's Day to you, and I have just seen Prince Charles on the news, and it looked like he had a spring onion complete with roots attached to his lapel, did not look leek-like at all......

It would have been my Dad's 87th birthday today as well.....
