My advice for what it's worth. Stick to the aggro free threads. Too much history between the warring factions to get involved in. Some go back to the dawn of the site!

By all means tune in but sit on your hands. If the telly is rubbish you can always be sure of getting a bit of excitement on here (unfortunately).

Surprised Ricky Gervaise hasn't done a spoof of this site. Might have to give him a nudge.

Tin hats are free and the Anderson Air Raid Shelter has been Spring cleaned. Just bring some nibbles, I'll supply the home made Baileys.

Oh it's getting quite windy out there. Think I'll just dust off the broomstick and take a spin round the roof tops.

Don't let the odd hic-up put you off, we are all human....the boards are full of good people even if some don't get on.....doesn't make them bad....they just have reasons we can't fathom at times :-), you will get to know them all in time and get used their individualisms ( is there such a word for the meaning?...hmmm! ) and even maybe get to like them for them.
