pmsl - I suppose I should be expecting a long queue of people offering now

Glad to hear it, Joy:)

Hello Liz:))) Nice to see you - I don't envy you. I've been offered a couple of chances of running my own business in the last year or so but I know how stressful it can be and I don't think I have the temperament:) The hardest time is often the first year but when you get there I'm sure it's worth it. Lots of luck:)

Hello Jill:) A tree?!? Sounds like you were very lucky!

Thanks for asking us David.......mine is better than expected really......last half of last year was so busy with the 3 new grandbabies arriving, and our daughter's wedding.......one baby arriving on the 28th December, and daughter getting married 29th....that was all emotional.......then in the New Year with MiL having her new hip, and looking after her.....

.....she is a much stronger lady than I imagined because now she is walking without a stick, and can do everything......carefully, of course.....

.....so all in all I am happy with everything and feel very lucky......x

David

I think I just get wrapped up in my own misery, ..often not knowing why I feel like that in the first place. Its almost as if Im waiting to hear the news of something horrible has happened, be it family, friends, or something awful in the world.

I really need to get things into perspective and put the positive in front of the negative.

Mine has been good and bad so far..............the good bit was getting my husbands operation over and done with.

he has a way to go yet before he is back to work, but the bank has been really helpful.

The bad is my brother blocking the registration of the EPA ...............that is holding up the sale of Mum's house so she can get out of debt with the home she's in.

But the end is in sight as he only has one more week to put his accusations in with proof to back them up.

As he has no proof because everything has been done completely honestly and in her best interests he can't win, but the niggling worry stays in our mind all the same.

Roll on Friday when his time is up and he will hopefully crawl back under his stone with his money grabbing partner.

Elaine.................you sound as if you are getting depression, a trip to the doctors might be a good idea.

xx

Sounds like you have had a lot to worry about, Kitty - so you just have to get through this week and then things should be looking up. I don't know what an EPA is :s

Now let me see!...where shall I begin?!......nope!.....have decided to let you all off the hook :-))))

being philisophical, (:-)) if one doesn't get the 'downs'...how can you appreciate the 'ups?'

All rotten things that have happened to me this year, so far, have been overshadowed by my Oh being told that he has Lung Cancer.....many appointments and tests later have now shown that he probably hasn't.....so anything else is just water off a ducks back......won't stop me moaning though ....against my nature lol.

Hi David,
Well this year has been a bit of a mix for me so far as you know.
Lots of family problems and then on top of that trying to settle dad down here and cope with doing everything for him, whislt managing to work full time and look after 3 kids! Then on top of that his health problems and the running to/from the hospital and the worry of what the Doctors are going to find when the have completed all the tests.

On the up side I have the wedding to look forward to and NOTHING is going to stop me getting excited about that. I have waited too long for it to happen!

Oh and by the way, I had my hair and make up trial yesterday. So when I went out with the other 2 last night I was looking very beautiful and more to the point young!
So your message via Maz was wasted ;-p

What a horrible start to the year Susan - fingers crossed that it's not lung cancer. I know what you're going through with the worry and I admire anyone who can tackle things philosophically - good luck.

Morning Pat:))) I had a headache last night just thinking about all that nattering going on;)) You haven't deserved all the worry you've been getting in the run up to the big day but I know you won't let it spoil it - more exciting for you must be getting to see me twice in a month pmsl
