Me too, Bella and Viv - he's a vile man.

Viv, there's no need to say "another" like that;))

Thanks to everyone for adding.

poison acorns, if you read through my earlier posts you'll see that I did say I feel sorry for the bloke for having lost a child. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy never mind someone I don't know. Doesn't alter the fact that many many people have lost children in the intervening ten years and most of them just have to get on with their lives. As I've said the deaths in that car crash are no more or less important than any others.

Elaine, I agree with you about the Barrymore thing. I think people must have to find excitement in things. It always happens when someone famous dies - even recently with Heath Ledger there were all sorts of things being said about his death that were cruel and untrue.

Kathlyn, I agree totally.

Merlin, I don't believe in any conspiracy. Whatever happened, Diana wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

I never liked Diana, I know lots did but I always found her to be some what Sly.

I think she would have been a good daughter-in-law for Al Fayed, whats the saying"birds of a feather"!

Mr Fayed is trying his best to bring the royals down,I for one will not fall for his dishonest and uncouth behaviour.

You do not attack anyone who can not defend themselves, obviously he thinks its ok.
Hes a rat!

you could be right Ann but grief does things to people and Merlin you learn something new everyday i thought he was the only son
i stand corrected

but he should in turn have some compassion for Wills and Harry - they had the best Mum ever and in royal circles she was a rarity - no other mother in royal circles nurtured their children as she did. let her rest in peace I say. I thought her death was fishy and there are some very fishy aspects to it but when all is said and done had she been wearing a seat belt she would probably still be alive today so conspiracy theories are blown right out of the water on that one.

you have to feel sorry for the guy
he has lost his only son he just finds it hard to let go so every time his name is in the press his sons memory lives just that little bit longer so lets have some compassion

He has desperately wanted a British pasport for many years - which is why he bought Harrods - thinking you cannot have any store as British as that. It did not work - Perhaps when he saw his son going out with Diana for a short time - his dream erupted again - I can sympathise he lost a son but two boys lost their mother - and the dirt is being raked up again 10 years after. No good to anyone nor to their memories.

I agree with that last statement David.

A few years ago a local boy died in an accident.................the coroner ruled accidental death and said if he had been wearing a seatbelt he would have escaped with minor injuries.

I wonder if the coroner will say the same to these families....................I doubt it.

Merlin LOL.................excellent point!

And just to "Muddy" the waters a little bit more,How about if it was a "Conspiricy?"but by " Islamists" to stop Dodi marrying a Non-Believer/Infidel.Its possible. But no one would dare to offer that to the Coroner as its not "PC".**M**.

Kathlyn

Kathlyn Report 18 Feb 2008 14:23

I only hope that all this will not effect William and Harry, after all they lost a mum who loved them dearly. No way was Diana going to let her children be "taken away" from her when it came to motherhood. I will always remember the scene on board a ship when she and Charles had been away for some time. They ran towards her and she ran towards them with her arms outstretched, grabbing them an hugging them for all it was worth. That was a real mum.

The sad fact is, she was a lamb to the slaughter when she married Charles. Thry thought they could mould her into their idea of a Royal.....she showed them different. Yes she had her faults, don`t we all, but she brought a breath of much needed air into the royal family. William and harry are better men for having been her sons.

As For M.al.F............he should be ashamed of his actions, and those working for him are doing it for the ££££££££££££££££££££, and lots of it me thinks.

There were too many coincidences that would have had to come together, to carry out an assasination plot........life is NOT Mission Impossible..........although when I first heard the news. I must admit, I thought......."they've got her"
she was, in my opinion at the time, making too many waves, re land mines etc......
for her NOT to have been a target.....

why didnt he call for an public inquest for dodi, maybe he didnt want some unsavoury truths about him known to the public. if he wants to blame someone he can blame himself, if he wasnt surrounded by a load of yes men theyed still be alive today.

I feel really sorry for Al Fayed,,,he never through his son achived his goal,,,to gloat at the Royals,,

their patronage plaque was taken down from his store because of the stink he caused because the country wouldnt allow him British Citizenship,,which hes never forgive them for,,,,,,,,,,then came along Diana if he could get his son to woe her wouldnt that have been something for him,,,!!!,pay back to the Royal family for the above,,,,,,,,but ,his dream was shattered, in tha accident ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,he has spoken well out of order today,,he has alternative country he can return to ,,,,I think his hatred has clouded his reality,,,,,,,
