~Summer Scribe~ Report 15 Feb 2008 00:18

They've got that street listed (updated last one with street address and occup)and ditto'd under that. So they're divided with the inhabited ticks. The one before (so possibly the house next door or the other room in house or something) has:

Name: John Wilde
Age: 60
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1781
Gender: Male
Where born: Lancashire, England

Civil Parish: Ashton Under Lyne
Hundred: Salford
County/Island: Lancashire
Country: England
Street address:
Occupation: J. Hatter.
Registration district: Ashton and Oldham
Sub-registration district: Audenshaw and Droylsden
Household Members:
Name Age
John Bamber 12
Mary Bamber 38
Ann Wilde 51
John Wilde 60

It actually looks like they may all be in the same house with James and his bit of stuff ;-)

Thank you ....they look old to be his parents don't you think ? I think the bamber are just neigbours...

~Summer Scribe~

~Summer Scribe~ Report 15 Feb 2008 00:31

pm me your email addy and I'll send it to you, might be clearer that way. Could well be his uncle and I wondered if Bamber might be married daughter and child. 1841 annoys me so much coz it doesn't give relations.

~Summer Scribe~ Report 15 Feb 2008 00:33

Silly Sausage Report 15 Feb 2008 00:49

He was married twice he was widowed and then married but on both wedding certs he names his father as James Wilde Hatter...not John....that makes me think his father was james wilde and they was his grandparents not parents...
