i would like to know if any of my distant relatives are still in scotland as i know from my grt grt grandad onwards alot emigrated to australia canada and america.
my grt grt grandad was george whitelaw from stonehouse lanarkshire married to elizabeth rennie who was irish george was born in 1835.my grt grandad was robert whitelaw born in stonehouse but moved to larkhall dob 1860 (8 nov) married to helen curr then margaret robertson there was a family of 21 from both marraiges. my grandad was alexander whitelaw born 1906 married to jessie mcpherson from edinburgh. if anyone is from this line of family i would love to heare from you ,thnx
