I a m trying to find information about my great grandad James Whale , he married rachel and lived at 30 cleveland street , Dudley, their children were Jane 5 years, william 3yrs (my Grandfather) and amelia 1yr. William married Alice and moved to Kidderminster in the thirties.

It seems your James named his daughter after his mother, and his son after his father.
