Find Ancestors

Hi there i wonder if any one can help me
I am looking for a marriage heres what i know
Violet May Methven was born 28th feb 1894 she died the 1st of march 1970 under the name violet may goulding (this is taken from her grave)
I have looked for a marriage METHVEN - GOULDING and cant find it i have looked 1910 till 1928 for this marriage usuing ancestry
But can not find it
I also know she had a daughter who died 26th june 1988 known as girlie who was buried with her
but dont know her name
Any suggestions or help would be great thankyou

yes she was 79 years old when she died i have looked to see if i can see any births that tally either under the name of methven or goulding births for the daughter but couldnt find any thing

Shirley looking at the dates i have given you it makes violet 15 when she had this daughter these were dates given to me from a relative who visits the graves

They were also buried in edmonton cemetery so i was looking for a death around that area

so the Mollie Louise one wont be right cos that Greenwich which is south of the River Thames, (my old stamping ground cos i came from that part of SE london)

Hi shirley no i dont think that one is right its a bit to far from edmonton and she was 79 when she died on the 26th of june 1988 so i would have thought the death was registered in june

If you contact the local council they should be able to give you information on who is buried in that grave

Hio thanks claire im sure they charge you for a search now i rany enfield cemetery have been really helpful in the past and when i called them the other day they said if i wrote them a letter thay would charge me £20 I

Shirley i dont know if she was married but surley she would have been born under the name methven i dont think violet would have been married at 15? but then again i may be wrong

Try ring the council instead of the cemetery but make sure you have the plot number.

Hi Claire i dont have the plot number this relative gave me these notes through another relative i will try and talk to her to see if she knows the plot number

Hi Shirley no i dont have the death certificate only these dates i think maybe her dauhter may have registered the death
I will keep looking if not i may go to the cemeterey and have a look it must have the dughters name on the head stone
