Hi,
could somebody kindly do me a 1901 census look up please for Robert Butler born 1871 Flookburgh lancashire...i think he married Agnes Robinson of either Glasson Dock Lancaster or Flookburgh also not certain on her.
Robert Butler's parents were Jane Bland and James Butler of Flookburgh Lancashire but the family did move to Glasson Dock after the 1881 census.
Robert's siblings were
Eleanor Butler born 1874 married John Worthington
William Butler 1869c yet to find a partner for him
Jane Butler 1881 no partner yet

i think it must be the right marriage as i think the butler family lived at Sunderland point near Overton which is just across the river from Glasson Dock another fishing community

No you are not slow at all.

I think when the transcription is saying Sunderland Parish on the actual image it looks like Sunderland Point to me.

So Gardner children etc born Sunderland Point.

I've been to sunderland point and wondered if the parish was under either Heysham or Overton as Sunderland is so small and there is no church there

Yes that is the right one for James and Jane..i didn't have that one but i have Jane's birth as 1836 she had been married before to a Francis Dickinson but he died in 1865 leaving Jane with three children James Bland 1860, John Dickinson 1863 and Francis Dickinson Junior 1865 then she married james Butler who was younger born 1847 and they had five children
