Yes Thanks Linda-I see theres an extra Child'Fanny' age 1 in 1891 as well-so another one after Samuel and before the census that I didn't know about--She's not on 1901 though with them so will sadly have to look for a death for her. Still to have 10 out of 11 survive is pretty good compared to some of my others! |

Possibly registered as Ernest Samuel in Crediton in Sep 1888? Nicola's post has him as aged 2. The death registration for Ernest Samuel refers to the one born in Lambeth; although there is an Ernest living with mum Hannah, he appears to have been registered simply as Ernest. |

The fact that the 1901 census gives the date of birth as 1890 means that he was actually far more likely to have been born in 1889. |

Hurrray-Thats them-Someone even did the who;e of Cheriton Fitpaine or me the other evening-and still couldn't find them-Thanks so much-Yes thats defo them asSamuel is a Carpenter and Fanny/Tanny was born at Broad clist-Many Many thanks. |

Yes-Most of the children seem to be registred at Crediton-but the only two Samuels for 1890 are Plymouth and Okehampton.Okehampton isn't that far away really-no Further than Heavitree in 1901 anyway! Thanks for trying to help me -Its so frustrating. |
