She married John Asher and came to live in the Stroud Glos area.John was born in Stroud Their first child Mary was born 1897c in Leeds Yorkshire. 	1891 census has Elizabeth Barnes, born 1872 Norwich working as a servant in Eccles, Lancashire.

	After looking at the 81 census I have to agree with what was said originally. You're going to have to buy that marriage certificate to find her father's name. Margaret

It says place of birth Gloucester and he is working with another chap from Gloucester George Warners farm George is 40 any way I am thinking perhaps I may be getting better at this !! Elizabeth

I have ordered that marriage certificate and have it in front of me but no father is given for Elizabeth Barnes!! John Asher and Elizabeth were married in Salford in January 1894 Their ages are listed she was 22 and John was 30 So I guess that would make her born in1871 unless she was born at the beginning of January Help folks what do I do now? Am not too sure about John either. His Dad was Henry Asher I think I have the correct family for him Any ideas would be greatfully received Elizabeth
