Hi INis,

I have followed Nicholas John Carney from his hairdressers shop in Short Strand and found his brothers as someone else is also related to one of the brother's too. I have him in the Street Directories.

Nicholas Carney, 21 Smithfield.
Nicholas Carney 13 Hammond Court
Nicholas Carney 8 Highstreet Place

it was just a suggestion, as you don't seem able to find her birth in Belfast!

Hi INis and Sylvia,

I don't have much information on Nicholas John Carney or his wife Margaret Carney all I really have is their death certificates in Scotland. Nicholas died in Glasgow/Lanark 24th September 1911 aged 57 and his wife Margaret Carney nee Kennedy registered the death.
Margaret Carney nee Kennedy died in Dundee in November 1934 aged 70, my grandfather who was Mary Carney's husband registered the death.

So Nicholas would have been born c1854 and Margaret c1864.
