Find Ancestors

Is it possible to discover the parents' names when you look up a birth record on Ancestry please?

I am looking for the parents of Eveline Fletcher who was born in Runcorn in the September quarter of 1894. (Cheshire).

To get the parents names you'll need to order the B/C, to be 100% certain

You should be able to find her with her parents on 1901 census............

Unfortunately she was not in Helsby where the original request started from.

Without some idea of the parents I gave up on this one earlier as was not able to connect with other siblings that were mentioned.

Reggie, I know the Fletchers were in Helsby on the 1901 census; they were at Undercliffe, Chester Road, Helsby.... but Glitter Baby wasn't able to find them because there were too many records to go through even though it was only a small village. There were 50 I think.

Too much to ask for a free look up so I think I will need to buy some credits and have a look. It was worth a try!

How do you know they were at that address at the time of the 1901 census?

You had no idea of when the children were born or the names of the parents.

This is the next door neighbour in 1891.
Still there in 1901 but the Fletcher's are not.

There is only one male,Enfield Fletcher, so it must be the right family
The house name is not shown on any census but it is almost certainly the family living there in 1891

In 1901 the family are in Liverpool and the only people in the house are the gardener and his wife.
