JOHN HARRIS aged 32 of Million Taylor married GRACE MATTHEWS NEWLYN aged 22 on 1.7.1841 Million Church Avon. Their daughter FRANCES MARY HARRIS was born 24.5.1853. She at some stage came to South Australia and married John Read in 1876 Was wondering if with this small amount of info it would be possible for some kind person to find the family in census records? Would be much appreciated Colleen (Australia)

	Colleen, Newlyn isn't Grace's surname, it's a village in Cornwall. Births Sep 1851 Harris Frances Mary Penzance 9 201 Rose

Member Since: October 2005 Posts: 337 Send Message	Thanks Rose... looks like I've been sent down the wrong path. Evan the birth date of Frances looks like its wrong but according to her marriage record she was 23 in 1876 (who knows?) Got something to work on now. Thanks again Colleen.

Her parents are buried here in South Australia so I presume they came out as a family. I found Elizabeth Ann's marriage as well. As Rose said.. they can't be found on 1861 census Colleen
