Hi, I am trying to find the death of my greatgrandfather William Henry Hingley b.1846c in Dudley, he married my greatgrandmother Maria Leviston in 1871 in dudley. my greatgrandmother is in the 1901 census in birkenhead as Maria Davies. Can anyone throw any light on my greatgrandfather please. thanks gail

Thank you Linda but that is not him, according to the marriage certificate he was 25 when they married in 1871 and was an Anvil maker? I know he is almost impossible to find. gail

Linda in Cheshire. I think you have found him, it is too much of a coincidence, I know that my grandmother moved to Birkenhead as a youngster. Thank you so much I will confirm it now with cheshire BMD.

Maria Davies in Birkenhead on the 1901 census is 31, meaning she was born 1870.

Don't think Maria Jones is yours. On the image it says she was born in Westmoreland.
