Hi Deborah There are only two Donald Andrew McKenzie's. One born in 1880 in Aberdeen and one born in 1890 in Midlothian. The only ones born in Uphall were born in 1860,1866 and 1898, and they are only Donald (without the middle name). Any possibles do you think?

Ive started searching it for my great grandma but she said they were born in Glasgow and were married in Scotland. Oh well, thanks anyway, its probably my grannys memory, lol. Sorry I couldnt be more specific, thats simply all she could remember. Thanks again!

Hi Leia Sorry, there is no record of a birth of anyone called McCausland in Scotland between 1855 and 1900. Also, I checked the marriage records and there is no record of a marriage between McCausland and Moore between 1855 and 1928! Are you sure they were born and married in Scotland?

Hello Linda Have found two possibilities for Agnes. 1. 31 July 1783 in Lauder, Parents Alexander Brounlie and Betty Kemplin. FR318 GROS Data 748/00 0002 2. 21 January 1788 in Shotts, Parents William Brounlie and Jean Reid. FR78 GROS Data 655/00 001 Sadly, the image is not available, but you can order it. Hope that helps. As for Margaret Smellie. There are 13 born between 1740 and 1768. Do you have idea of a year?

Hi Suzanne Thanks for looking. I have the reference for the marriage, and I'm 99% sure I know who Janet's parents were so I don't think I need any more info. So use the credits for other people, but needless to say if you have any left at the end of course I would like extra info. Thanks

Hi! It would be great if you could search for any details of my g-g-grandmother. Her name was Catherine McCausland, I believe she was born in Glasgow and she married an Alex Moore. Unfortunately I dont know when they were born, apart from I think they had three daughters, one of which was called Katherine Moore (b.1907). I know its really vague but if could I would really appreciate it. Thankyou! Leia

Hello Tracy Have found the record of the marriage between Robina and Thomas on 26 March 1821, but the image is not available. You have to order it. The frame number is FR2714 and GROS Data 685/01 0054. Sorry not to have been of more help.

Hello Nina Not much help I'm afraid. The register of births on Scotlandspeople only goes up to 1903, so any children of Percy and Janet would not be on there. The register of deaths only goes up to 1953; and neither of them are on it. So, either they lived passed that date, or died somewhere other than Scotland. I did find the record of their marriage. Have you got all the info. from that, or can I send it to you?

I am looking for a birth for Agnes Brounlie, Lanark (she married 1806 David McNair) or David's mother, Margaret Smellie, (David born 1784) any help gratefully received. Thanks Linda
