On the 1891 census Thomas is living with Mary Ann Jackson and family and his birthplace is not given as Staffs. It looks like Chester or perhaps Cheshire then a word I can't make out. Send me your Email and I will send a copy. Perhaps someone else could have look and see what they think?? Tricia

Hello Tricia, WOW! I got all my information from the censuses, and on the 1881 census Thomas J Wasburn was born in West Brom, Staffs (unless I wrote it down wrong). It is the same family as Sarah Jackson is my G.Grandmother. My email is [email protected]

Both 1891 and 1901 census images now Emailed to you. Let me know if you have received them and in case you didn't how can I find Thomas on 1881?? We still have a problem because we need to find out where he was definitely born and I can't find him on 1901 to verify West Bromwich or Runcorn. Tricia /

Hello Lynsey, There may be a connection with the my Jacksons, Have a look at my tree!! The son Harry Jackson was once Mayor of Helsby (so my Gran told me years ago), If you find a conncection PLEASE PLEASE let me know, up until now I have only found one person who has a slight connection to my tree (and that was 1828 in Northumberland). I'm getting quite a complex!!! I know how you feel my memory is going as well, I sit her staring at a computer screen with a dazed look on my face wondering what I'm doing here :) Thanks Kerrie

Lynsey

Bearing in mind Thomas James was probably born in Runcorn and it seems to figure a great deal it might be an idea to 'file' this death in case it is his father. Death qrt ending Dec 1879 Thomas Washburn Runcorn 8a 152 He was aged 26 which fits in nicely with Mary Ann and must have died between 1875 and 1881. Just a thought. Tricia

Hello Kerrie. I've looked on 1837online and the birth ref is definitely Dec 1875 Thomas James Washburn West Bromwich 6b p812. Not 912. He's the only Washburn. ON freebmd, there is a Richard Washburn who married in West Brom, and a Thomas Washburn, who married in Nantwich, (I forgot to note the years, but both were early 1870's), however none of the brides were Mary Ann.
