Yep - all the same one! I'm sure I will speak to the 'nephew' - he's my father-in-law :) |

You have my total sympathy with this one Tracy. I would get your Father in Law 'involved ! ... get him to check your finding so far .... and just ask if he can remember an Aunty to go with Uncle Thomas, ask him if he remembers Thomas dying etc etc ... and then ask if he thinks Thomas was THE oldest, youngest ... older or younger than Rose .... ask if there are any surviving photo's of Thomas (sometimes photo's can be 'dated' by the surrounding, the clothes worn etc etc I know you know what I mean .... I asked my Gt Uncle just last year, if he had any photo's of his Mum ( who I odored) .. he answered ' I can do better than that, I have an albumn FULL of your family - its yours to keep and treasure' he then set forth and named every single person on every photo for me ... dates, places who they married etc etc. I wish you the same luck Tracy. Elaine :-) |

Thanks Elaine :) He only remembered about Thomas because I was asking about Edward, who I found on the census with Rose's parents. He told me there wasn't an Edward. Later he rang back and told me there was a Ted and and a Thomas. I have all (I think) the pictures from the family, and I can't find any of Ted or Thomas. He did say something about there being a 'black sheep' so I think either, or both, were. |
