Thankyou so much for looking David. There are just too many Jones's I hesitate to ask anyone for info as there are so many it seems impossible. Anyway I will keep the list by me, and hope to find him in the future. The family seem to stay around Westminster, and Hanover Square crops up sometimes so fingers crossed. I'm finding it difficult to get further back. The earliest record I have is Henry's marriage in 1857 (Father George) so trying to find where he was born. Why couldn't they give their children uncommon names !!!! LOL Many thanks Jean

Please if I'm not to late could you find GEORGE JONES and HENRY THOMAS JONES. Henry T would be about 22, unmarried. George is his Father. Henry was born Clerkenwell. In 1857 henry was living in Gloucester Terrace Westminster. This is as much info as I have so will understand if its not possible. Many thanks for offering. Jean

Thanks, David. I think the Mile End New Town Hurley's will be mine. Most of the names and ages tie in quite well with the info from the 1861. I did not know about the son William as he was not on the 1861, but he would have been 22 by then so could quite possibly have moved out, and I am willing to accept that Frances/James could be different transcriptions of the same person. As for William Pool - well, plenty there to keep me out of trouble!!! Thank you once again for your kind assistance.

I am looking to locate two families: HURLEY Head - Timothy, b.1812, Aldgate Wife - Sarah, b.1816, Bethnal Green Son - Henry, b.1842, Bethnal Green Son - James, b.1846, Mile End Son - Thomas, b.1848, Mile End Daughter - Sarah, b.1851, Mile End Looking at the birthplaces of the children I would expect to find them in Mile End. In the 1861 they were at 11 Charles Street, Mile End New Town. POOL William, b.1839 Chelsea He may be with his parents, but unfortunately I do not have their names yet. Alternatively he could be with his wife Mary Ann / Maryann. She was born 1839 in Leicester. I have not yet located their marriage, but their first child was not born until 1857. I have already checked their address from the 1861, but they are not there in 1851. Very grateful for any info you are able to find. Regards, Helen
