Hi everyone~just got back after a day with the folks You are all stars!! I have only had chance to skim through all your replies, but it all seemed pretty helpful. If the kids give me time later I'm going to look at it all properly & see if there are any certs I can send off for. Thank you all so very very much. It is so wonderful that you have all kept looking even though I havent been on line all day XXX

Thanks for eveyones help & thoughts. From all the names you gave me I sent fo a load of certs before Xmas, and I have now sorted the mystery out slightly. I still have no proof Mary Jane married the first rixon brother(William), but 1901 gave me childrens certs to send for on first cert she was Jane Rixon formerly Matthews on the last birth cert she was Jane Rixon formerly Burton So it now seems she didnt have the 2 girls with the first brother, then the boys with the second brother, but all with 1st brother William (who coincidently was widowed & 2 kids from that marriage lived with his parents & second brother Charles!) William died in early 1909, when all the children were put into care. She then had twins with Charles in1911,(now called Mary Jane Rixon formerly Burton) they did not marry until 1914 when she was Mary Jane Matthews (widow) But this could well be as it was still illegal to marry your dead husbands brother until 1921 Anyway just wanted you to know all your look ups has helped me sort out the mess known as Mary Janes life! Something that started me on my family search 5 years ago, and something I thought I'd never achive without those amazing BBC researchers. SO WELL DONE GR MEMBERS!!
