Please Please Help this is driving me crazy Please can anyone give me the details of James Mason says born Wigan? 1865 on 1891 census I have his marriage certificate May 1891 which says he was 26 living at 96 Ince Green Lane Ince which is under the district of Wigan, He married Mary Molyneux who lived next door 94. Would be grateful for family who lived at 96 Ince Green lane. can only find 1 James Mason born 1865 lancashire, living in Lancashire on1891 census but can't view record would be very very grateful for details

Hi Reg This is my problem he is a servant on Beech hill farm Wigan and says place of birth Wigan 1865. Have traced many James Mason's born between 1860- 65 born Wigan to no avail & can't trace birth record.

On the 1901 there is a James Mason, age 36, born in Wigan, coal miner, address: 55 Ince Green Lane. Wife's name is Mary age 33, born in Ince Is that the right one? Rose

Hi Wife was Mary Molyneux on the marriage certificate she lived at 94 ince green lane

You would think if he married in Ince in May of 1891 one could find him in Ince on the 1891 taken in April but no one with the right birth year. Rose
