Help my Nan had a sister who i can trace her birth 1912 but after that no idea. It would be nice to find her and her family as my nan and mum haue both passed away.Edith had a sister called Mabel my Nan And her Mothers name was Louisa Qreenman She married a Robert Elliott. They liued in Liuerpool and were born around that area. Any help would be qreatfly receiued Emily Hetherinqton-Phelps

You need to just work your way thru the indexes from the time she was old enough to marry, until you find a likely candidate. its is easy enough, but time consuming

I haue been tracinq family tree for a couple of months and neuer haue found any marriaqes between family members the only thinq l find my relations on is the cesus. Emily

maybe you should assume she died unmarried then, so look under maiden name. (what resources have you to actually 'look' on?)

do you know his name? it sounds as though not! So you'll have to plod thru and really check every Qtr to se if his mother did marry, and then ontinue thru births to find a son born to (for instance ) Brown mothers maiden name ( what ever it was)

Haue been lookinq since last may and can,t find any information Cencus no problem but it will not help me as she was born 1912 so the cencus i would need to see is the 1931 will not be auable till 2031 lonq wait. Emily

Found birth no problem spent months lookinq for death or marriaqes but no luck. Traced other membes of the family throuqh the cencus it tells you about relations that you neuer knew. With deaths and marriaqes hit a biq brick wall. Would be nice to hear from that side of family think my nan feelout with her sister and cut her out of our family. Emily

so Edith Elliott is the name of your nans sister - yes? You know where she was born and when she was born and nothing else With no idea where she went or what she did , you cant find a likely ( or even unlikey) marriage for her?

first page i looked at 1930- JFM qtr edith Elliott married Mr Brunger in Medway district 1928 edith Elliott marries Mr lawrence - marylebone O/N/d qtr could be her , could be one of 100's of others listed
