I am now looking at a bald me. I am going bonkers trying to find my great grandfather on the 1901 census but to no avail. The misspelling of his surname is causing a few problems to say the least. Anyway, back to the reason i am asking for help. William Mckegg born York 1878. Wife Mary Mckegg(do not know year of birth yet) Son John Mckegg born Leeds 1899. I have received William and John`s burial details . John died at the age of 4 years in York. That is where the Mckeggs moved to after marrying in Leeds. The address i have on the burial for john and his brother Dennis who was born and died in 1902 (York) is , long close lane, york. I believe this is in the walmgate district because most of the certificates i have have long close lane walmgate york on them. Sorry for being so long winded but this is driving me mad. 1901 census they all go AWOL. if anyone can help me i would scream HALLALOJAH!! from the tallest dolls house. Thankyou. Regards Vanessa |
