Gosh Anne I could go on all night about there lives in showbiz, basically if you type in Dolly Harmer on google (real name Sarah Elizabeth Caron )and click on I think its the top one that comes up, well thats my 3x great aunt, although it doesnt give you all the details about her life only some of, mainly about the Pantos she was in, she was Pierre Carons daughter the one born in 1830s, her father was a comedien in his time amongst other things, her mother was a violinist, her two brothers were violinist one the Head Violinist in the Halle Orchestra in Manchester in 1880 to 1890. other members of the family did bits and bobs in the Music Halls aswell as their spouses. Dolly was also in the( black and white) Blackhand gang film in the 1930s as Mrs Robinson, just a little insight into my hard to follow family! Marie |

I think you are going to have to ask for 1841 look-ups for some answers. I am intrigued what branch of show biz were they in? I could swap some coal miners. |

Just found sons birth cert, he was born Pierre Joseph Caron in 1859 Lambeth Square London. Gosh this family are so difficult, they all have simular or same names and they all changed them went they went on the stage, and used there stage names on censuses aswell! but I found Henrys as a witness to the wedding of Pierre and Margaret would you believe! wondered if he was a brother or cousin. Hi Anne, gosh you are working hard for me, its appreciated! Right I have a Pierre Caron who married a Margaret Perry/Perrey in London, not sure exactly where, the ages fit, so thats a start and yes they had a son born about 1859/60 so it looks like the right family. Not sure about Belgium though, that sounds interesting! always thought they might have been French. Thankyou Marie |

Henrys father could have been called Joseph but not a hundred percent sure as he could be the brother or cousin of Pierre (Peter) Caron who is in my direct line (4xgreat grandad to be precise) I am trying to establish two things, one if he is the brother and not cousin of Pierre and also the name of Henrys Wife if possible anyway. Thankyou Marie |

Just had a thought, at first I thought it was, same names and ages etc, but mine were born Bethnal Green, and yours says Hackney, could they still be the same ones? sounds daft I know but I am not well up on the geography of London in those days. If they are then the mother must have died not long after their marriage or during childbirth maybe. Thankyou Marie |
